Greg: Hey there chinesepod listeners, you're listening to an intermediate lesson on chinesepod.com. My name is Greg.
Greg: Alright Vera, so today our topic is marathons
Vera:
Greg: OK, marathon. So we've actually covered this in an elementary topic before but didn't really go into much detail, I think.
Vera:

Greg: OK, so we got some people who are running the marathon in this dialogue right?
Vera: 嗯
Greg: And its pretty crowded, so whats the first thing we want to talk about today?
Vera:
Greg: OK, so this is like to...make way or excuse me right?
Vera:
Greg: 嗯
Vera:
Greg: Like to yield, right?
Vera: Right
Greg: So is this like polite? Saying 让一让
Vera: Yeah, I think it's polite
Greg: 嗯
Vera: Not rude
Greg: OK
Vera: Like in the crowd you can say
Greg: So you're going up the escalator and people are standing on the left side of the escalator
Vera: 嗯
Greg: You can say 让一让
Vera:

Greg: Move aside and you won't sound too mean
Vera:
Greg: OK, Good, um, and then next they're talking about how this is the Shanghai International Marthon right?
Vera:
Greg: OK, so lets break this down, um, obviously 上海 and 马拉松 we understand, but how do we say 'international'?
Vera:
Greg: OK, and again this is just the word for international, so we can use this in a lot of different ways, right?
Vera: 嗯
Greg: So like
Vera:
