Bug: App forgets the last page I was looking at on iPhone

Posted by beatrizstollnitz June 19, 2014 in the Group General Discussion.

Here's another iPhone bug that is getting in the way. Before, if I was studying a lesson and encountered a new character, I could quickly switch to Pleco, add the character to my flashcard list, and come back to ChinesePod. The ChinesePod app would remember the page I was looking at and would display it for me.

Now, if I switch to Pleco and open ChinesePod again, I get the home page. I need to navigate to the lesson, and then to the part of the lesson I was looking at, and that takes a while (the app is a lot slower to switch pages since the new redesign).

I find that the only effective way for me to use ChinesePod with this bug is to study new lessons on my computer, with Pleco open on my phone. This means that I study new lessons a lot less often than I used to, and my progress has slowed down. ChinesePod is loosing its usefulness for me.
