Chinese expression help

This expression is about a tree and someone standing still. Has anyone come across this? What does it mean?(sorry, no tones)

shu pan si ren tan hua

I think it is 树挪死，人挪活。

挪nuo2 =move

this expression's inside meaning is that one should change his mind or thought and move on. Don't stay same all the time. You will get something new when you take a chance to do something. (tree can not move, it means death if a tree move)

Thanks for replying Casie. Something about a tree standing in one place is a good thing but for a person it is not a good thing. Hope this helps.

can you give some more detail expression of it?

"Shu pan si ren tan hua" didn't make sense without tones
