Resveratrol - Polygonum Cuspidatum (Hu Chang or Hu Zhang) in Chinese?

Posted by lukeskywalker March 1, 2008 in the Group General Discussion.

I am now living in Beijing and looking for a supplement I usually bought in the US as Resveratrol.

I have found out that it can be obtained in China in (Traditional Chinese Medicine Shops)as the chinese name for Polygonum Cuspidatum. The Pinyin  seems to be Hu Chang or Hu Zhang. However I have looked around for the corresponding hanzi without success.

Anyone know how to say it or write it in Chinese for sure?

Many thanks in advance.
