If I download the lessons from the RSS feed but then delete them in my ITUNES Library, will I be able to download them again ???

I am new to using ChinesePod so I am a little confused about the procedures. But after trying many many programs, this seems to be the only one where I can actually remember things........

Yes, you can download them again.

Two choices that I know of:

  1. Download it from ChinesePod's website. Clicking on the icons beside each lesson will get you there.
  2. In the iTunes Podcast section, there's an arrow at the far left side - this is the arrow that if you click, it'll "open" the podcast list, and if you click again, it'll "close/ collapse" the list. On a Mac, if you Option-Click on that arrow, it'll show you all the podcasts you've deleted, and you'll be able to Get them again. (I'm not sure if it's exactly Option-Click in the Windows world, but something similar gets the same result.)

Thanks for your suggestions, i tried the first one but I don't know if I am doing this right because it doesn't seem to automatically download in Itunes like it did before. Instead I have to right click and download the file (which is still fine anyways.......) Regarding the "arrow" on the Mac I only see one on the bottom right corner below the refresh button. But I still get only blank spaces when I click the button. Is this because I deleted the actual name of the pod cast "ChinesePod.com and ChinesePod in the Itunes window.

I'm probably confusing you even more..........

Don't worry about it; this stuff is really hard to explain with words.

Arrow? Triangle? I'm not sure what to call it. In the iTunes podcast field, you've got the list of all the podcasts you describe to. This is in the "main" iTunes window. On my set-up, the furthest-left column has blue dots that indicate new content. Then there's a little one-character triangle that either points to the right or points down. Each different podcast has its own little triangle. You click on it to toggle between "closed/ collapsed" (i.e. see only the name of the podcast) and "open" (see all downloaded or available "issues" of this podcast).

So find that little triangle. Click on it once or twice to see how it works.

Now, press and hold down the Option key, and click on the triangle a couple of times again. Wait for it to refresh. Now, you should be able to see not only the podcasts you have, but the ones you deleted should also be visible - grayed out. You can now click on "Get".
