Streaming Chinese

I was given one called "cradio" awhile back, but it seems to have a hard time tuning into different feeds. I use iTunes, so anything that allows for direct URL streaming would be great. I would prefer talk radio over music.

June 13, 2008 at 11:50 PMTotally sweet! iTunes selection of Chinese podcasts are basically limited to Chinesepod, Princess Remey, and a handful of second rate language shows. Since I'm not in China having streaming radio is great listening practice.
I use VLC for watching the VCDs I bought in China, Hong Kong, and Manhattan Chinatown. Actually, I've rarely had a problem reading any DVD or VCD using VLC, even if my home DVD player won't recognize the disc.

April 23, 2009 at 04:53 AMcan't vouch for the Mac part, but here are two links that have always met my needs for streaming radio... In case you (or others) are Windoze folks, I like to use Screamer Radio http://www.screamer-radio.com/ as a time tested stand-alone app and copy and paste links from these two sources and save them as favorites in Screamer. Saves some steps...

Princess Remey looks a bit difficult to follow at my level though. Bookmarked for the future.

June 10, 2008 at 10:53 PMRash, here's a good list of radio stations (talk and music) from China, Taiwan, Singapore, etc.
And VLC is a good media player for this (I use Macs as well).
