June 26, 2008, 09:02 AM posted in General DiscussionJust checked after I read John's post on the "New Features" thread, because I wasn't sure if I got it right.
The Dialogue and Expansion sections of the pre-V4 lessons eventually all got their audio back.

June 26, 2008, 11:14 AMOuch, rjberki! Much as I am sincerely happy for CPOD and their long-suffering "Premium" subscribers on this count, isn't offering congratulations a bit like throwing a big expensive party for kids who've just passed... 8th grade? In the words of a (currently famous) American: You're supposed to pass 8th Grade!
Oh well, rjberki, you're a better, more noble, person than I am. This "no audio" thing has been reported by CPOD users for nearly a full calendar month! But I'm happy for you...

You are correct. Congratulations to the cpod team! It would have been nice had they told us they knew it was a backwrds compatability issue and were working it this way. People tend to get less angry if they know whats up. Im thinking there should be a "new announcements" page where cpod can list critical recent announcements. One page with bulleted items. Everyone knows whats up and no repetitious posts, most of which go unanswered. Changes can be announced as well and nobody is left in the dark. Well, almost nobody. I would think this would be to cpod's advantage as well.
