Is the old CP forum dead?

The old CP forum is now full of spam, no moderator around to fix it. Bazza? Henning?

Everybody seems now to be here. Is the old forum dead?

Shall it be closed?

Sorry guys,

Bart_Shriver4d907 is posting about 10 -20 messages an hour; probably a bot. Only light can block or delete users and he is not around.

It looks like it's one single spammer. Don't delete that user before you have removed all his posts, if you do, his posts will just remain as "anonymous" posts. Make him "inactive" instead, so that he can't post any more, and try to find some more or less automatic way of deleting his posts.

I have moderator rights, but cannot delete users - and this spammer is pretty diligent...

Wow, it really is flooded. Unfortunately I can't do anything about it as I resigned as admin.

Thanks for the hint.

The forum is pretty dead, but there are still some valuable old posts frozen in there. Maybe it should just be closed for posting?
