Momo and Keiko's Discussion

May 12, 2008, 06:53 AM posted in General DiscussionHi Keiko. I have looked up on the coversations we are doing. This is what I think of the our 2 conversations talking about.
Firstly, "the growing affection" one is about a couple where a girl doesn't want to go home because she wants to stay with the boyfriend. I think they talk in a sweet way. Maybe they just start going out since the girl doesn't want to trouble the boyfriend to send her home.
The second one, "scheming girls", is a conversation between two girls where one girl talks about the guy she likes. The other one happens to be a best-friend of girlfriend of the guy but still encourages her to go for him.
I have looked up other Chinese Pods plots but I will post about it bit later.
And let me know what you think about the plots and how should we present.

May 18, 2008, 10:47 AMHi Momo. sorry for the late reply. Yesterday, I read through and listened to the "growing affections" dialogue. I noticed that there were alot of new words and sentence structures such as "我连你住哪儿都不知道". Anyways as you said, in this dialogue, the couple seem to be talking in a sweet way. For example when the male complements the female for her beautiful long lashes. I will have a look at the "scheming girls" dialogue right now.

May 18, 2008, 11:02 AMi found the "scheming girls" more interesting than the growing affections one! When we present, we should do the "growing affection" dialogue first because then the audience can understand the situation better. The tone throughout the dialogue is sweet and calm. Then, if we present the "scheming girls" dialogue there will be a sudden change in mood, going from sweet talk to scheming talk and i think that would catch everyones attention.
Also, I agree with you for adding more sentences to the dialogue. Maybe in the "scheming girls"dialogue we can add sentences where the girls talk about in detail of where and when chen jing and zhang liang can meet and how they can hide this secret meeting from lili

May 18, 2008, 02:51 PMSo i read and listened to all the dialogues. This story is so interesting~! so much drama, it's really entertaining. My favourite dialogues are "the lovers spat" and "love letter". In both love letter and lovers spat we can see zhang liang's kind and sweet nature. For example when zhang liang apologizes to lili for being unreasonable. I was surprised to see the sentence "你就是我最好的维生素"in the "love letter" dialogue, because in japanese, people express their feelings for someone in the same way.

May 19, 2008, 07:54 AMOkay, I think we should follow the way you said. Think its interesting.
Anyway, 'A Fated Meeting' I thought it's interesting to see people meeting online really meet up. I never thougth Chinese people do such things. 'The Jealous Friend' was my favourite, it was so funny that her friend got jealous, I bet Zhang was so ackward!! I also liked 'An Old Flame'!! old ex-bf turned up to be very rich and famous!! How would you feel?hahaha!! 'A Guy's Advice on Women', we sees how two men are fighting over the bill, typical chinese men, trying to save their face ahaha. and lastly 'the Come-on', are they flirting? wow...its bit weired but yeah I guess.

May 14, 2008, 08:17 AMWell, I have looked at the other conversations. Generally all the conversations are related to "Romance" I guess. I think all the conversations are interesting and looking forward to see how other people will recreat the situation.
Anyways, we have to think about how to recreat the situation.Which conversation should be do first? I was thinking if we do "growing affections" people would understand more about the couple and probably more interesting, what do you think?? And, I think it would be better if we add some sentences on the scripts to be more interesting.
Let me know what do you think of this. Talk to you later.
