Does anyone else have a problem hearing sound files on vocab, dialogue and expansion pages?

Well I'm just here on a trial (which expires tomorrow) so pardon me if I'm being forward posting here.

Basically I'm wondering why I cannot hear anything when I click the red arrow squares beside the words on the vocab, dialogue and expansion pages.

At the beginning of my week's trial I thought it must be some fault with my computer's setup, so I decided to do a complete reinstall of Windows. Now I'm running a squeaky clean installation. I'm using Firefox 3.

But still there is no sound at all when I try clicking those links.

A friend of mine has the same problem, she told me she just uses another browser to look at this site. But hey, I don't wanna do that, I like using Firefox. There has to be a simple solution to this right? I'm somewhat disinclined to fork out for a subscription upgrade if there isn't.

By the way I've sent an email to CPod about this and got no help.
