Glossary Glitch

Has anyone else noticed the following glitch, using Firefox 3.0.4?

The hanzi is displayed for about one second, then it turns into commas as you see above.  This doesn't happen all of the time, but most of the time.

I've checked in Safari (boy I miss that browser!) and it works fine.  My OS is Mac OS 10.4.11.

Is anyone else having this problem?  It's still happening on my Mac PowerBook, using Firefox.  I'd love to find out if it's the Mac, Firefox, or Cpod.

The only reason I use Firefox is for traditional support on Cpod...this glitch doesn't happen in Safari, IE, or Netscape, so I assume it's a CPod/Firefox incompatibility issue.

Would a few people, who use Firefox 3.0 with a PC or Mac, mind going to the Glossary and type in the word why...then come back here and post your results?

Thanks.  It's a bit of a pain to open a different browser everytime I want to use the glossary.

I'm not seeing this problem using Firefox 3.0.5 in Ubuntu 8.10 (x86-64).

I have however had serious problems with displaying this website in the past.  And it came down to a messed up Firefox configuration.  I never figured out specifically what caused the problem, but at some point I just deleted my entire configuration folder (/home/acorrigan/.mozilla) and it started displaying perfectly.  I would suggest temporarily renaming your configuration folder (I guess on the Mac it is /Users/<username>/.mozilla) to something else and opening the web page with a fresh configuration.

Thanks Andrew.  I upgraded to 3.0.5 and that didn't help, then tried what you suggested and that didn't work either.

I guess it's a Mac/Firefox issue.  Any Mac users (non-Intel based) having this problem in Firefox?
