Cpod的课宠爱全民 ?

December 16, 2008, 07:36 PM posted in General DiscussionFrom past Cpod lesson, I thought 宠爱 was used for someone with a pet or a children (not for something to/on people).
But I just saw 美声宠爱全民 on the chinese record sleeve of Sarah Brightman 's Harem album.
Is it a normal use of 宠爱 ? Could a sound 宠爱 people like a man 宠爱 a dog ?
Would it be correct if I say that Cpod的课宠爱全民 ?

I asked Jiaojie about this curious use of 宠爱。 In the example you gave, it is being used to say that everyone can enjoy this beautiful voice. But this usage is limited to artsy advertisements and propaganda.
You couldn't really say that "Cpod的课宠爱全民," although we appreciate the sentiment!
