Old-school cartoon (elementary)

Hi!

I found a chinese old-school cartoon on youtube. It presents 36 characters formed with the pictographic method (象形字 xiang4xing2zi4, pictogram/ pictographic character). 象形字 is one of "the six methods" of forming Chinese characters. Read more on wikipedia.

I guess this is suitable for elementary and intermediate poddies.

Here is the cartoon. Try to listen first and see if you can figure out what the characters are. I'm am sure you already know the sound of some of them.
Down below are the characters, their pin1yin1 transcriptions and the english translations.
