technical problems

Is there a best browser to use to view these online tutorials?  I am using a mac, OS 10.5, with a Safari browser.  I am encountering two problems:

In the vocabulary tab, the flashcards do not play audio when I click on the audio icon.

In the vocabulary tab, the concentration game shows all cards upside down. I can't see any of them.  When I click on one, it reveals the character or english.  When I click on another card, of course it tells me I made the incorrect choice, because the card is upside down. I can't see the surfaces of the cards to connect them.  I just can't figure out how the end user is supposed to play this game if she can't see all the cards?  The only thing I can think is that I need to use another browser?

Well, don't use Camino unless your computer is slow like mine. Camino for my G4 imac is good because it is much faster than Safari, but you can't play the example sentences in the glossary for some reason, and formatting comments is like a lottery. Safari I found was much more reliable for this site. Just a shame it uses up all my memory.

laurak, I just tried the audio button on both of my iMac's (old G4 an new Intel) running Safari, and the audio worked fine on both.  It might be your system.

On the concentration game, I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly, but I believe that's the way it's meant to be played.  To win you have to correctly match each character with its English meaning.  Since, given enough time, anybody can make all the matches, I usually set a goal of under one minute with 40 tries or less before I consider it a "win."  Obviously, everybody needs to find their own (probably higher) level.  I try to use it daily.
