July 08, 2007, 02:19 AM posted in General DiscussionHey all! I have yet another question! If I was in China, and I wanted to send a letter somewhere (lets say the US), would I have to use a Chinese postage stamp? Or could I use my own American ones I had brought from home? 谢谢你 in advance!

July 08, 2007, 02:10 AMYou have to use the stamps of whatever country you are posting from. So yes, you would have to buy the stamps in China. If you are using the Chinese postal service, you have to pay them, and in return they give you a stamp to say you have paid for their service.
