Listening test silences

I try the listening test from time to time at idle(?) moments, but very often some of the entries/statements are completely silent/absent.

I just tried it again and had 2 or 3 such occurrences.  I decided to claim that I had understood them :-)

I suppose this test is really for people new to the site, but I do think it could be improved by being longer.  I do well when I recognise the source of the sentence; in other words when I have studied the lesson it comes from.

I am sure if I had the same level but had never done a Chinesepod lesson, I would get a much lower rating.
