Me Page - Filtering change?

Something seems to have suddenly changed with the lessons displayed on this page.  When I marked a lesson as studied, it would disappear - no longer.

Now the options given are: all, subscribed, bookmarked and assigned - none of which do what the site used to do.

Actually maybe this was a temporary problem - seems to be working now

why are future newbie lessons no longer available as a personal settings choice?
