Help: iphone Mandarin applications

August 30, 2009, 07:36 PM posted in General DiscussionI have just bought an iphone, and downloaded CP into it, however there are other several applications, I am wondering if people have reviewed them already and can suggest some good ones.

It would work a lot better if it would just connect to the server and delete all the cards you decide you don't want at the end of a session. It's just about *this* close to actually being useful. Try StudyArcade. You can sync it with your ChinesePod account, and it doesn't crash.

September 01, 2009, 02:25 PM@wtcartwright We are working on a more stable version of the ChinesePod Quick Review App. Study arcade is also good.

September 01, 2009, 08:02 PMit's not an app, but I highly suggest bookmarking Anki Online (http://anki.ichi2.net/). I use the desktop client with Chinese plugins to add cards to my decks, but review on the iphone via the website.

September 02, 2009, 12:55 PMStudyArcade seems to be nice, lacking the audio though. it can sync with anki, CP, among other language pods, I have downloaded several packages so far, and i find Panda Words, Gengo Flash cards are also useful
