September 01, 2009, 09:31 AM posted in General DiscussionI´ve been flying for the first time and been to china for the first time!
The trip started in beijing, then we (I was there with a group of 36 people all doing Chen taiji quan) went to Wudang Shan, Chen jia gou (the home of Chen taiji quan), Xian, Louguantai (Laozi left the Dao de jing there), back to Xian, with the train up to Lhasa (36 hours=3 days) and our trip ended in Shanghai, where I finally was able to visit praxis...now John can´t drink coffee any more ´cause I have his mug!

September 01, 2009, 10:48 AMHi Excuter,
I don't think we have talked here on the site, but I just want to say I'm glad you made it to China! It's an exciting place.
By the way, I went to Lhasa too. Quite beautiful up there. It's hard to believe they used to live mostly on Yak meat and milk. The Tibetans still do from what I hear.

September 01, 2009, 11:00 AMHi xiaophil,
yes, it is ^_^
In Lhasa they like birds, they all say: cheap, cheap ;-)
Besides from wanting to sell us stuff, they make nice western food, like spagettie and pizza, I also got french fries...but sadly I spent two of my three days there in bed...
