September 10, 2009 at 12:43 PM posted in General DiscussionI just wanted to express my thanks to Vera Zhang, who has been my Chinesepod teacher for several years. I have enjoyed our daily phone calls when I particiapted in the Executive plan. Vera is an amazing teacher who was always able to explain Chinese grammar to me in terms of English grammar because of her amazing command of both. Vera is off to an exciting adventure, living in the US and teaching Chinese in an American highschool in Indiana, where I am sure she will make her lessons more relevant through her knowledge of Chinesepod. How lucky are her students! Thanks Vera for your talents, your diligence, your patience, your encouragement and your humor. I hope you will periodically update us on your impressions of living in the US and teaching American highschool students. You will always be my laoshi. You will go down in Chinesepod history as a treasure who helped develop the online teaching concept. Best of luck to you!

Welcome to the United States Vera! It's been a couple years since you were my practice plan teacher, so I know your new students will get a good deal. I hope it goes well for you.
