Hi there, thanks to Scarlett (our new community advocate), I got to know that it's "可以商量的余地” kěyǐ shāngliang de yúdì or "可以商量的空间” kěyǐ shāngliang de kōngjiān,you can simply say"余地" or "空间".

And maybe that's one possibility, is there a context for it?

hi helen 那么请问一下,no room to move, no wiggle room,是不是 ‘毫无商量的空间、余地’‘毫无出路的余地、空间’?

@miantiao, 恩!你是对的,没有商量的余地/空间。

`room for negotiation` .. exactly, helenshen, miantiao thanks.  A possible context might be: People with a long history of safe driving have wiggle room when they're pulled over for speeding.  They are much more likely to just get a warning.

我的新 vocab

  • 余地: margin, leeway
  • 空间: space
  • 毫无: not in the least
  • 出路: A way out
  • 商量: to discuss, consult

Thanks again for taking the time to answer this for me, I appreciate it.
