2 week Learning Chinese Holiday in October

I am considering going on two week holiday with learning Chinese thrown in this October (10th -22nd) in Beijing and Shanghai. It is being organised by Serge Melnyk whose podcasts you may have come across. Is anyone interested? If so, contact Serge.

I'm not really interested in the holiday, but his website http://www.melnyks.com/ seems to be a "kinder, gentler" intermediate level, with lots of English and slow repetition, while still introducing a fair bit of vocabulary. I wonder if this approach is helpful for the folks trying to make the elementary-to-intermediate transition and clamoring for a low-intermediate level.
