是...的

1 他是喜欢你的 he like you

but 他喜欢你的 this sentence have some different means （1，he like you。2，he like your something.....，In other words, like your things。）

2   usually， 他今天会来的  or 他今天会来；Seldom use 他今天是会来的；

3.你是在哪儿买的 usually use 你在哪儿买的  emphasis on WHERE in the Past 。 in china Syntax Seems dont have tense；if want description Past （以前，过去，曾经，很久以前long long ago）

4 的“每天”表示every day，it is  past action ， now action and future action；

I thought 是can be dropped in 是...的sentence structure? It emphasis on the past only?

in china emphasis on the past only ，all have Iconic words  it very few （about 10 words）

It doesn't emphasis on the past only.

1.他是喜欢你的 （强调一个“事实”：喜欢。可以不用“是...的”；可以说：他喜欢你。）

2.他今天是会来的 （强调一个“事实”：回来。可以不用“是...的”，也可以说“他今天会来”。）

3.你是在哪儿买的？ 表示emphasis on WHERE in the Past. (对）

4.你每天是怎么上班的？ （只是强调，也可以说：你每天怎么上班？)

但表示“in the Past”，一定要用“是...的”,you can drop “是”。

“你昨天是怎么上班的？” 不可以说： “你昨天怎么上班？”

the sentence themselves are right,but both these two wouldn't appear when Chinese ask and answer during a dialouge.

it depends on how other ask.if nobody ask ,only you say,it should be "他喜欢你" without “的”，the same problem with 他今天会来的，if somebody ask you,他今天会来吗？you just answer 会 or 不会 ，because it is a 一般疑问句

just like answer "yes" or "no"
