John is excellent as a new teacher.  (Jenny always has been.) His explanations are clear and concise and his voice is pleasing.  He does not waste the listener's time or try to impress with whitty, unnecessary comments or antidotes. He is a pleasure to listen to, so I am really enjoying Chinese Pod these days.  Keep up the good work, John.

John isn't a new teacher. He has been with Chinese Pod for a few years now.

He is a rather new voice to me. I have been using CP for about 4 years, and have been through all the Newbie lessons and about half the Elementary lessons. (I'm a slow learner--69 years old.) Until recently, all of those lessons were taught by Ken and Jenny.  That is what I meant.
