Trad Chars are not displaying

Is it just me or have Traditional Characters stopped being displayed on this site? I have the correct settings but on both lessons and my flash card's i'm seeing simplified.

Anybody else seeing this?

I did a quick test, and everything is working normally for me. We'll have to examine your account. We'll do our best to fix your problem ASAP.

Could you tell us your computer operting system (and version), and your browser (and version)? Thanks...

Hi John,

Thanks for the update. That's a good question. I'm using works computer (don't tell the boss!) so that is a variable I hadn't accounted for. I'm using XP service pack 2.

I have Windows 7 at home. So I will have a look when I get home and update this thread.

I just ran a full test on your account and everything was displaying OK in traditional (lessons and flashcards). This was on Chrome (latest Beta build) and Windows 7. Let us know what browser you are using and if things are different at your house.

Update....I'm at home and all seems to be well at the moment. ..hmm...I wonder whats different. Time for a quiet chat with the IT guy at work ;)

That is quite odd and honestly I have never heard of an issue like this before. I would be interested in hearing about any follow up to this in case other users experience something similar. If you get the chance email me at support@praxislanguage.com or update here.

Hi Bill_w

Another update... Trad Chars seem to be mostly displaying correctly....however, I think the problems the other day may be down to the matching game and a newbie lesson....

In my Vocab manager all words appear as traditional, but then when I use the matching game they appear as simplified....

If you test this...try my vocab set 9 and look for the words 會 and 幾

Also the expansion section in the newbie lesson "Downloading Music" still appears in simplified.

These things combined could be what was spinning me out the other day....

Thanks for the update.

Yup, looks like the Matching Game doesn't support traditional. I wasn't aware of this previously. Maybe John could chip in here with more specifics.

Recently the flashcards were given an upgrade. We stopped using Flash and added traditional support. The same will be done for the Matching Game, but it's a bit later in the schedule. Sorry for the wait...
