You can put 的 or omit it in both sentences.
2) 适合 is a verb. means "suit".
合适 is an adj. means "suitable".

没有 is the past tense of 不
所以他没有来上班 is past tense. "That's why he didn't come for work."
所以他不来上班 means "That's why he doesn't come for work". He didn't come for work and will possibly not come for work in the following period.

太小了 means "too small"
太小的 is an adjective, you can put a noun. after it. For example, 太小的衣服(tai4 xiao3 de yi1fu)-too small clothes.

Why does 给我 come at the end of the sentence 最好发电子邮件给我 and not near the beginning - 最好给我发电子邮件?
