Students all across the world (or at least across the northern hemisphere) are gearing up to go back to school, and many of them are going to be studying Chinese in the coming semester. We want to help, and so we’ve launched a Back to School promotion! Anyone with an active .edu e-mail address can purchase an 8-month Premium subscription for just US$99 -- $50 cheaper and two months longer than our normal $150 six-month Premium subscription.

To sign up, head over to the Back to School page. For more information, check out this blog post. This promotion will end on September 30th (Shanghai time), so hurry and sign up today!

Hmm, you do realize that many universities provide their alumni with a lifetime .edu e-mail address, as a way of maintaining ties (and no doubt, as a way of spamming them for donations)? Also, .edu is pretty much confined to the United States and perhaps Canada, no? You may end up offering price breaks to Silicon Valley billionaires while starving artists in Europe pay full price. I wonder if you have thought your clever plan all the way through. :) :)

I'm currently digging through all this alumni paper work / spam mail looking for my .edu email address and login info. =)

Also, don't forget about the accompanying Integrated Chinese blog (Integrated ChinesePod?).

I'm curious why you guys decided to use this book? I'm assuming because it's one of the more widely used ones? Personally, I'm a huge fan of the New Practical Chinese Reader series.

Kyle, check out the links in the first post. It's extremely widely used.
