I'm afraid I'm going to have to do it again.  :(  哎哟!太忙了

I am reviewing all of my vocabulary from the last 6 or 7 months.  However, I can't find my assigned lessons any more.  They don't show up on my Home page any more.  April Fool's Day and what was the other one?

Hi Michael,

It depends on you, vocabulary has a benefit that you click the left and the words will be saved into your vocabulary tab. and grammar you can go to Qinwen which is best choice. When we talk on the phone, I will focus on the dailogue and regular vocab,just like chating about some topics, take it easy. I am not a strict teacher, haha. Just speak out and then we can improve our speaking.

Okay, 谢谢!  Also, we did change time last night for Daylight Savings Time.  I can be available at either 12:00 or 1:00 depending on if you want to change or not.  You get to choose!  :)

你好。 Is there some part in particular I should study in the lessons?  For example, vocabulary, or grammar?  Regular vocab or supplemental vocabulary?  Or just cover it all equally?

Hi there.  I'm afraid I won't be able to do our lesson this week.  I have an advanced tea class to prepare to teach and haven't even started studying my Chinese yet.

Have a good day and talk to you next week!

The class went well.  I taught about green tea and what makes it different from red tea, wulong tea, etc.

I have a question about 国庆节.  I understand you get a week vacation.  Does that week end on Oct 1 this year, or begin?  That is around the time we want to go to China, but want to come after the holiday is over.

Also, studying the next lessons, I noticed several words that seem to mean the same thing as words I already know.  Can you explain 什么不一样:

*  要 vs. 将 (will/future/going to)

*  意味着 vs. 意思 (meaning)

*  懂 vs. 理解 vs. 了解 (understanding)

*  与 vs. 给 (give) -- this one was was "with" in the lesson, but my dictionary says it also means "give"

Thanks!  Talk to you soon!

  “十一”国庆节
放假时间:10月1日—7日放假,共7天。

will/future/going to: 要=将,but 要also=want.

意味着is verb,mean,意思is noun,meaning.

understand as verb,懂 = 理解 =了解,but 理解can be noun, understanding.

与and给=give,but 与 is old saying, we don't use it often as 给 now

Hello.  Something has come up and I won't be able to do our regular lessons this week.  Will it be okay with you to skip and do Week 3 next week?
