Well, it has several different aspects,, It's a verb complement and also an adjective complement for tendency.

As a verb complement tendency, it expresses:

1.the completion of an action with the meaning of achieving a goal.

他把钱藏起来了。(ta1 ba3 qian2 cang2 qi3lai2 le.) He hid the money.

快把东西包起来。(kuai4 ba3 dong1xi bao1 qi3lai2.) wrap the things up quickly.

哦，我想起来了。(o, wo3 xiang3 qi3lai2 le.)Oh,I've got it.

2.When 起來 comes after a stative verb (some adjectives also can be used after 起来，like冷leng3 cold、热re4 hot), 

it can be used to mean the onset and continuation of that action or state.

冷起來(leng3 qi3lai2)to get cold

他大笑起来。(ta1 da4xiao4 qi3lai2.)He gets roar with laughter.

3. from down to up

风筝飞起来了。(feng1zheng1 fei1 qi3lai2 le.)The kite flies.

把手举起来。(ba3 shou3 ju3 qi3lai2.)Hands up！

4. speculation or consideration

听起来挺有道理。(ting1 qi3lai2 ting3 you3 dao4li3.) It sounds quite reasonable.

看起来还可以。(kan4 qi3lai2 hai2 ke3yi3.)It looks alright.

5.an impression or feeling that one has.

这双鞋穿起来很舒服。(zhe4shuang1xie2 chuan1 qi3lai2 hen3 shu1fu.)This pair of shoe wears very comfortably

这支笔写起来很滑溜。(zhe4zhi1bi3 xie3 qi3lai2 hen3 hua2liu.) This pen writes smoothly. 

As an adjective complement for tendency, it expresses that the persistence of some state or the growth of some degree. And the adjectives are usually with positive meaning.

e.g.

她的身体慢慢好起来了。(ta1de shen1ti3 man4man hao3 qi3lai2 le.)She is getting better.

他的脸红起来了.(ta1de lian3 hong2 qi3lai2 le.) His face is becoming red.

天气暖和起来了。(tian1qi4 huan3huo qi3lai2 le.)The weather is getting warm.

Grace, I'm always confused by 起来. I think it means 'start' or 'seems to' in varying situations, like 看起来 or 听起来 (e.g. 他看起来很高兴). Can you enlighten me?

上线is a verb，which means to connected to the Internet；while 网上can be kind of place，so you can say 在网上meaning on the Internet.

在线 means on-line.上网means to surf the Internet or access a network.

E.g.:A：你上线了吗？

     B：我马上就上。你在线吗？

     A: 我已经在网上了。

你喜欢在网上买东西吗？

我可以从网上下载音乐。

你家里可以上网吗？

我在公司不可以上网。

得can be"dei3;must", also can be "de"(a particle used after a verb).

Here are the examples:

你感冒了，得多喝水。Ni3 gan3mao4 le, dei3 duo1 he1shui3.(You have caught a cold, so you have to drink more water.)

我英语说得很好，但是汉语说得不太好。Wo3 ying1yu3 shuo1de hen3hao3, dan4shi4 han4yu3 shuo1de bu2tai4hao3.
