她肚子很大，好像怀孕了似的。.

他好像很忙似的，一直不接我电话。

A不说，还B=in addition to A, B

in this pattern, the degree of B is always deeper than A. “还" here is like "even"

生病很麻烦，吃药不说，还要打针。

3.毛坯房 indicates that the apartment is empty and have not been decorated.

你好，“宰”还可以是 " change for a high price", and this price is too much higher than its real value.so in that case, you can use “宰”. like 今天我去买衣服的时候被宰了，因为我不会讨价还价。 or 那个地方是专门宰外国游客的，你最好不要去。

“敲”means "knock", usually used for 敲门，敲桌子 and so on.

Hi Crystal,

I'm reviewing my vocab and there's this word i don't really understand : 宰 which means to cut

in this phrase (see adventures of an Andy Lau fan on internet): "货挺正，就是价格太高，总觉得被宰了。" the meaning is totally different here, isn't it?

Can you give me 2 examples of using 宰 with it's original meaning, please?

“同时”是副词adverb,here the pattern is

".....的同时....也.....", but you also can use it this way, 她长大了，同时也变得更厉害。 you can put 同时 at the beginning of the sentence,like中国发展地很快，同时人民的生活水平也提高了。

the 了 here means it already has happened.

we put 并 between two verbs to mean the two actions occur at the same time or one after another. for example,我同意并支持你的决定。她很喜欢并用了你的建议。
