月饼 (yuèbǐng) madness

I went to Houston's Chinatown this weekend, and bought some mung bean moon cakes. MMMM, mung bean....

one thing leads to another... I searched 月病 (yuèbìng） for kicks, turns out 五月病 is a symptom 症状 zhèngzhuàng occuring when starting university... I'd much prefer getting 月饼病 (yuèbǐngbìng), just have to make sure it doesn't turn into a 月饼 addiction 癖子 (pǐzi)

我最喜欢的就是豆沙陷的，莲蓉还可以但不太喜欢双、四黄的。下个星期在伦敦中国城也买了一套小小的月饼（英国做的），不过我发现正常大小比较好。

OK, I just had the best mooncakes this year, from that Ganso bakery. They were like the Chinese equivalent of shortbread... and no salty yellow egg yolk surprise either. Though it was hard to place what flavour they were...
