Planning my bands 中国的巡演

Hi,

I am a relatively new member to Chinese pod and I am loving it.

I am in the initial stages of planning my bands tour of china. I am attempting to (out of necessity) be all D.I.Y and send a letter directly to bands and venues we want to play with. I am drafting the letter at the moment but am feeling a bit self conscious about my grammar... so any suggestions would be much appreciated before I start sending it out. Also any tips regarding bands and venues would be great! We are a rock band (how deo you type punk or garage rock in chinese) and we are hoping to start the tour in Shenzhen on the 17th of Januray and finish up in Beijing by the beginning of February... hopefully avoiding the Spring Festival train mayhem.
