Fixed! In the future if you have this problem, you can click on the little pencil below your post. That will take you to an editing page. Once there, on the bottom left of your post there is a drop-down menu. Just select "unpublish" and the post will be taken down.

I see no "unpublish" option in my drop down. Perhaps you are enjoying a view of the menu granted only to those with admin privilege?

I think from memory you have to click on "save as draft" and then I think it will present you with a bin option under the pencil option...unless things have changed of course....

you're right. If I "save as draft", then return to the main Posts page (which will disappear in a few days) the target post has now become a "draft" and there is a little garbage can icon that will let me delete. Now I can delete posts that are no longer germane, but that is not what Catherine said, and once the "post" page disappears this will no longer work. Having "uppublish" in the drop-down makes perfect sense, but its not there. I suspect staff members have a different view of things and this is not the first time it has caused confusion.

I here you bro' .Actually I just accidentally posted the same thing several times because I didn't seem to get that "posted successfully" message so I thought nothing was happening. So I did have to go and do that myself just now.

btw..don't go and delete any of your old posts mate....why would you? ...but of course it's your priority to do so. I wonder what happen to posts by others in such threads....I guess there would be mysterious links that went nowhere,hehe

Too late. And each housecleaning effort was met with the wonderful Chinglish banner "your operation success". Some posts are just no longer relevant. Anyway burning books is the way around here now. As for those that commented on those posts, you are right again, I can hear their muffled screams as they now fly untethered through cyberspace.
