July 06, 2010, 01:26 AMI was hoping to provide a screenshot of the site for the lesson progress tracking beta so that Cpod could better see what I mean about the site and areas where I could provide feedback. It would be helpful if a quick tutorial could be provided, or if the capability to import screenshots doesn't work, to let me know.

If you would like to take a screenshot, go to the page you'd like to capture, push "PrtSc" (to the right of F12 on your keyboard). This stores the image in your clipboard. To see it/edit it, open any image editing program (Paint will work) and click "Paste." From there you can crop it, edit it, save it, etc., then upload it to our website for everyone to see! Let me know if you need clarification or help with any of the steps I've just gone through.

July 08, 2010, 12:27 PMI tried making changes to the lessons group marked "studied" so that I could see how the Lesson progress screen changed. But the lessons marked studied still stayed constant at 10 lessons. Something needs to be done so I can see the lessons change.

July 08, 2010, 12:30 PMIt would be helpful if changes could be made at some point during the beta as a result of comments. I'm not sure if i'm the only one that's making comments on the Lesson Progress beta, but if I am, then it would be helpful to see the changes as they are suggested, so I can also see if the implemented ideas are helpful or not. Thanks.

July 10, 2010, 03:00 AMIt is not directly related to the progress tracking, but I tried to comment on the progress tracking on the Chinese Pod Blog website. That didn't work out. When I sent the post it didn't appear in the list of comments. Does anybody know why?

August 30, 2010, 06:17 PMIf there's still a beta in progress for the Progress Beta, then it would be helpful to have an "hours studied"metric that might have both manual and automatic input on the side of the "Your Progress Over Time" table. This metric might be created by the amount of the time the student spends on the site doing exercises, or listening to a podcast online, or working with skritter (the "automatic" inputs), or it might be an approximate measure that the student plugs in to guess how much time the student spent studying offline (the "manual" inputs). This might should help identify how much time across all students that participate in the beta how much time is needed to actually progress from one level to another level.

July 06, 2010, 01:16 AMIn addition to providing feedback on the lesson progress page itself, I need to be able to provide that feedback on the page WHILE I VIEW IT. So it would be helpful to have a popup dialog box, or somewhere where we could add feedback while at the same time making requested changes.
