how to say 相见恨晚 in English？

My dictionary says 'regret not knowing somebody before'.

There are some very interesting conversations there! My suggestion for "知己" - "soulmate" and "知己难寻" - "soulmates are hard to come by" :)

goulniky, yes, you are right,相见恨晚is refer to people to people I think you can say我很“遗憾”不知道Cpod, or you can say不幸，不幸is the opposite word of 幸运lucky

Casie, I've also heard "If only we had met sooner." And in response to your "Feel like old friends when we met for the first time.一见如故," you often hear couples say "We must have known each other in a previous life." Glad you're on vacation and have lots of time for CPod...wouldn't it be nice to do this for a living? :)

sometimes people say 知己难寻zhi ji nan xun. 知己难寻=It's hard to find a bosom buddy. Here comes another saying 人生得一知己足矣ren sheng de yi zhi ji zu yi, It is enought if one can find a bosom buddy in his / her whole life.

Oh sorry! I meant if we didn't have to work and could get paid to be on CPod all the time. "What do you do for a living?" is basically the same as "What is your job?" (你的工作是什么?)
