Hi All, it's back. Here I will occasionally post text messages I have received. They are usually not that hard (cause I'm able to understand them!), but they use "real" grammar and a lot of context. Have fun guessing and reading. It makes learning Chinese fun, fickle, and flavorful!  Please feel free to comment, inquire and/or re-word. It makes "getting" it all the easier. :)

1. if you have something urgent where you can use my help, call me. 2. Dear people, I changed my phone number. The new number is "number". I´ve got a lot of time to talk. Right?

Hi Ex, I'd say you got #1 pretty much spot on, but #2 I'd interpret a couple points a little differently. "Dear People" is really just "Dear friends" or "Good friends", and the "I've got time to talk", I'd say instead is "When you have time, let's get together more often." Other opinions?

I think the last part of the second one is "if you have free time, contact me."

"if you have free time, get in touch (often)". Can't really say it like that in English, but it works well in Chinese. To express a desire to hang out together, call, or whatever

hmmm... a bit more analyse here: 有空 - free time ( as in 有空吗 - do you have time?) 多 - many, much, more, more than, over... 联系 - connection, contact, link,(in) touch (with)... so literally it´d be: free time many/more contact so it´s probably the suggestion: call me more often when you have the time for it. something like that...
