Tee hee.. I just finished watched the movie 10,000 BC for the first time and every time I saw Camilla Belle, the lead actress, I couldn't help think of our very own Amber. She is very similar in looks to her and has the same cheeky eyes. I felt so strongly about this that I just had to share it with my friendly poddies. :) Here are a couple of pictures for comparison:

Ok.. So there's Camilla Belle above, and now here's a couple of comparison shots of our equally lovely Amber:

Hrmm? What y'all think? :)

Oh my goodness, the similarity in looks is very striking. Lucky Camilla! I believe that I first saw her acting in "Jurassic World" (she was a little girl), and then I enjoyed her performance in "Return to the Secret Garden".

Luke, sorry to hijack your thread in this way, but Stunt Toddler and his entourage (Dad, Mum, my mother, and his SuperNanny) will be enjoying a short holiday in Sydney in about 6 days. They'll be there for four nights. I was invited, but won't be able to join them on this trip.

If you have any good ideas for keeping a very active 3-year-old Stunt Toddler occupied in your city, please PLEASE let me know!

His favourite occupations are: Learning Mandarin, watching Disney Playhouse Channel, doing crazy dangerous stunts with no regard for safety, pretending to be a Formula One driver (vroom-vroom!!), pretending to be a chef (that one is entirely my fault, I'm the foodie of the family), "helping" me to shop in the local supermarket, writing e-mails, and surfing YouTube.com for videos to add to his personal playlist. Oh yeah, he loves animals and birds. I hope Sydney is more child-friendly than -- say -- London! Thanks, Luke!

Well there's always the Zoo. There is the main zoo, Taronga Zoo, which has been around since I was born and now there are some others that have been around for only a few years. Of particular note is the Sydney Wildlife World. Also there is Sydney Aquarium which has.. well.. water animals.. hehe.. There's also a Zoo a little out of the city called Western Plains Zoo which has more space, and hence bigger animals like Elephants.

Wow, that was quick. And with working links, too! Thank you so much.

I think the aquarium sounds perfect. The Stunt Toddler is not very "into" Chinese food, but he loves hanging around near those fishtanks where the Chinese restaurants keep our dinner before... before we eat it. I can't even bear to go near the glass, but he just LOVES it when the dumb fish and lobsters which are bigger than his head try to "nibble" his fingers through the glass.

We'll probably save the Western Plains Zoo for his second visit to Sydney, when (hopefully) I can go with him. That's because my mother isn't very good (= "calm") when there are big animals around.

Thanks SO MUCH for the good tips, I'll be sure to share them with his parents right away. Btw, we're getting him a little dictaphone so that he can record an audio diary of his trip for me to listen to! Once again, thanks!
