The lollicup meeting was great, I definately think we should do it again. Perhaps at 7:00pm instead of 8:00pm and maybe over at "Pho Broadway". let me know what you think.

I was definately hoping more people from Los Angeles would respond via this post applying to join the group. So far we're a group of three...perhaps we can grow that if possible.
Also maybe you could email me the things you are interested in learning about so I can create a lesson plan, because the more interested you are in the subject matter, the more you will get out of it and the faster you will learn.

It was great to meet both of you! Also felt good to speak Chinese again.
Not sure what plans were made after I left Lollicup? Let me know if another meeting is set up. I love pho.

xiaohu and i met last monday at pho broadway at 7:00pm. he suggested we meet again in monterey park( where they speak mandarin ). he said there were some good pho places there ( i love pho ).
i would like to request that we meet at 7:00pm rather than 8:00pm ( i'm up at 4:30am ) and let's chat up the group in comments.

Personally I love 川菜，湘菜 and 北方菜 and there are some great GREAT places in my area. It might be better to have Chinese food because then we can use our Chinese to communicate with the Waiters.
如果去吃中国菜服务员肯定会说中文，但吃越南菜呢，服务员不一定会中国话。
By the way, if there's anyone else in Los Angeles who using Chinesepod, our group is a fantastic opportunity to have live people to practice your Chinese with! Much better than just talking to your I-Pod.
