I appreciated the clarification on 吃瓜 as the provided definition, "spill the tea", made no sense to me whatsoever.  I found 赤瓜群眾 in my dictionary, but weren't sure if they were the same.

Apple also just recently added pinyin and HWR keyboards in their iPhone 2.0 OS beta. So it should be available when the OS is officially released in June.

Rich, I don't know about the Chinese equivalents, but your Dad's cousin's child would be your second cousin. Your cousin's child, would be your first cousin, once removed. The first, second part is dependent on your closest common ancestor. Parent is brother/sister, Grandparent is cousin, G-Grandparent is second cousin, etc. Then the once, twice removed refers to how many generations separate the two people in question. I hope that this wasn't too confusin. :)
