August 04, 2007, 11:35 PMShortly after studying this lesson, I was on a charter bus in Beijing. A taxi tried to squeeze in ahead of us. Our driver used the bus to block out the taxi, and then paused to berate the taxi driver with several lines from this lesson almost verbatim.

April 21, 2007, 03:24 PMThe PDF gives the meaning of 平时 as "normally." In Beijing I heard locals use this to mean "weekdays." Clarification please? On a related subject, how would one say "on the days I (verb)..." ? 我(verb)的时候 doesn't convey the precise meaning I want, which is to differentiate, for instance, the days on which I go to my office vs. the days I work at home. Thanks!
