I think the lesson was misplaced at the Newbie channel.

The spanish R is so easy, much more than the pinyin R, that sounds like the buzzing french/portuguese J, but also with a trill.

such a wealth never lasts. one hundred years ago wealthy Argentinians took their cows with them when crossing the atlantic so they could drink fresh milk on the ship. look at them now! at least they had good taste, sense of proportion, or budgetary limits. Decadent Buenos Ayres is worthier of a podcast than extravagant Dubai.

When I heard that Amber wasn't employed already I was slightly relieved. My first thought when I read the title "The final show" was that she was leaving to become "Obama's insider guide to everything China". It's always a bad thing to see someone you like working for a politician.

Amber, don't forget, you can do better than the United Nations or the White House.

I was never able to count in a foreign language. Telling time was a struggle too. Chinese numbers are alredy giving me a headache.

does anyone know a sudoku game in chinese, or some way to play with numbers in chinese?

the first line of the traditional transcript the word 項目 xiàngmù is missing. these UI lessons are long and it must be difficult to write down every word, but this is a recurring flaw in the lessons. the e-commerce lesson lacked a 你 nǐ, and even this makes the lesson harder to follow. Do chinese err like this all the time? I mean, is it common for them not to write something when it is clear from the context? on the other hand the lesson was very good. I like business lessons.

To keep the employees up and running a company must fire the lower decile, keep the vital middle 70% and promote the upper 20%. I wonder if Chinese companies, growing at 10, 20%, can afford to lay people off. this could be a lesson theme.

RPS may be a Chinese invention, but I distinctly remember when "rock, paper, scissors" arrived in Brazil. It was clearly an american thing, we all saw it as very hip. I don't know if children still play it, though. The japanese version is common too, but in the original language.

before that we played the "morra" game, that we call "odd or even", or "two or one" for more than two people.

Do Chinese people play "morra"? Wikipedia says it's called "huan quan (first quarrel)" , but the source is not reliable.

my favorite version of RPS is cockroach, a-bomb, foot.

Can I say  蟑螂,  足,  核轰炸 zhang1 lang2, zu2, he2 hong1 zha4. ?
