July 25, 2007, 02:33 AMI'm just now getting back into the swing of things and I really appreciate the fact that I can do one lesson a day and the information sticks. Just the right amount of dialogue, description, exercise and self-testing. Good work with the chunking!

May 31, 2007, 04:41 PMAs I read this thread I would just add to the supporters of numbered lessons. Getting back into studying the language, I prefer studying in order of increasing complexity and having a record of those lessons accomplished is a way showing progress. The dialogues and their contexts offer me a variety but as newbie I want to see a sequential progression just for my mental bookeeping. It is after all, 'Chinese on my terms...'
