July 28, 2009, 02:37 PMI could have sworn that Jenny says "xueping" (hence, Changye's blood reference) yet the transcript says "xieping". Which is right and how do I know how to pronounce the xue/xie character when I see it? Thanks.

We learn a whole lot of new dialogue involving arrest, criminal trial, spousal divorce, prison, attempted jailbreaks, guards, folding laundry, etc. Lao Wang becomes a jailhouse lawyer and goes on to become one of the most famous jurists in China!

November 02, 2009, 07:31 PMNone of the recent lessons' exercises are loading!! How about giving us subscribers two or three extra days on our subscription? It's a real hassle--hen mafan!--to set aside time during a busy day to do the Chinese lesson and then not be able to do it.
