What has happened to my podcast feed to iTunes?   It used to be really easy. Now it does not seem to update.

I realize that every roll out of a software has its problems. There are, however, objective measures of a good web site.  One is the "3 click rule."  Briefly, if you cannot find what you want in 3 mouse clicks, it is not designed for user friendliness.   There is also the old adage, "If is ain't broken, don't fix it!"

Two really useful fixes would be getting the CPOD interface to work with wlcpod and making it easier for the entire lesson to be portable on the iPod and Android platfoms.

I don't mind leaning new software or how to navigate a web site.  I prefer to concentrate on learning Chines.

Sorry if this is a rant.

Qing Wen is a great addition to the lessons.

Excuse me, but did anyone else find the background music a little distracting?

Happy New Year guys! I wish you all a healthy and happy 2010!

It is perfectly acceptable and quite common to say "I've changed jobs."  or "I'm looking for a change in jobs."   ....at least in American (English!)

Great lesson!  This is one of the things I found hard to understand until now.

Another issue is the use of the indefinite articles. English, German, and the romance languages, at least the ones I know, are obsessed with the use of :"a." "an," "the." "this,"  " these," and "those."

Any thoughts about how to express these in speaking and writing good Chinese?

Hi all!    Very timely information about the beds.  I will be visiting China next week and will definitely keep it in mind.

Two questions:  As a premium content subscriber for two consecutive years, it is possible to purchase the starter kit as a separate item.  My current year subscription expires in October of 2009; secondly, how can I arrrange to visit the CPod studio when I am in Shanghai?

Hi dongni -  The article is in Wired Magazine.  It is called "Does Anybody Here Speak Chinglish."  This article is not derogatory towards the Chinese language but talks about how English is chagning - as it always has - in repsonse to the users.  Worth a read.  If you have trouble finding it, send me a message through the CPod mail

Typically, but especially in children's stories, American English uses "boo hoo" to denote crying.
