I tried to edit my comment, but it did not work. I added: I joked with a chinese friend about howmuch leg work would be required to use a Chinese keyboard. -John

to bababardwan: All the chinese people I know use american english keyboards. They type in pinyin, and a drop-down menu of possable charactors comes up. I think Ctrl-Space switches this mode on and off.
