October 12, 2008, 03:55 AMHrmm...this was interesting. I've been looking to learn some Chinese math for a while, so I'm happy about having this lesson. Only thing is that after you mentioned that whole 4 Zero's making an unit thing I got lost.
Lemme try this: 1000,0000,0000 mm mm...this is wierd for me. lol
By the way....where is our slurping friend anyway?

October 12, 2008, 03:09 AMI just have to say how incredibly IMPRESSED I am right now! I've been following up with Chinesepod for nearly a year and according to the hearing test am at a "High Elementary" Level.
This was Very Helpfull to me and I really really enjoyed watching this lesson! Chinesepod has really run that extra mile for us Mandarin Student's and those of us who are taking advantage of this Awesome Learning Opportunity can really vouch for that! At least I know I can!
I love how much CPod has improved in the short one year I've been here! This is really the only way to go!

April 10, 2008, 02:32 AM哎哟， 我错了。 我的意思是“我要 the episode on ”呢" to quickly arrive 吧.” That's my little "Englese" translation there. The 吧 has more of a "how about it" kind of meaning and I used some other (what'd she call 'em) modleparticles here which is probably why my sentence makes little sense.
