What does the ya 怎么办at the end mean? This is the first time I ever saw this word.

Also can you omit the huan when you say 自行车要换新的链条了 since it is obvious that you have to change a chain to put a new one on.

If you really wanted to make it scary you should have had the sounds of dueling banjos in the background.

Why does the wife say 别浪费浪费

Is it possible to say 浪费,

Is it necessary repeat langfei ? Does it have another meaning if you omit the second?

You did not mention 奶油 nai you as I believe I heard Jenny talk about once when talking of effeminate men.

Does it mean the same as 娘娘腔 niángniángqiāng ?

I take issue with Dilu reaction with Johns legitimate question asking if you can say
wo jieyi when the smoker asks jieyi ma. She says it would be rude and he says that US
can be anti-smoking she brushes it off with "whatever". In English the "whatever" is a really rude response.
Much ruder than saying I do mind that you smoke.

I believe Dilu you said it would be rude to say it is not OK to smoke near me when john asked if you can say bu jieyi.

I try to be culturally sensitive but it seems we go out of our way not to offend people who smoke with our "rude" words but smoker are oblivious of how rude it is fill up an area with smoke. Is this just an east/west divide or a smoker non-smoker divide?
