February 13, 2015, 11:40 PMIt's more about ease of listening. This is why newscasters and radio host train their voices to speak in a specific manner. There is no complaints on my side about Fiona speaking quality. She speak both English and Chinese clear and concise in my opinion. I could listen to her speak either language for hours.

February 13, 2015, 08:51 AMGwilym is hard to listen to in general and hard for me to understand at times... I'm American. I think they should eventually find Fiona a better co-host her voice is quite the opposite... very easy to listen to. Ken and John have been by far the best masculine voices in comparison in my opinion. Also I like that the French are not so fluent in English especially for the Americans!!! We yanks need to learn more languages instead of blearily speaking one well :)

November 14, 2014, 08:40 PMDid you try uninstalling the app and then re-installing it. This always seems to do the trick for me when I have issues with apps.

November 14, 2014, 12:12 AMI really enjoyed today's lesson. Thank you both! I'm with Adam I will take a more authentic Chinese dressing anyday over 蛋黄酱和千岛汁。 Reminds me of too many unhealthy American BBQs in my past. I would love a lesson on healthy Chinese salad options.

February 19, 2015, 07:59 PMI'm not aware of any current OSX for Windows Pinyin apps. There are a number for iOS and Android.... or you can use and webapp option on your Mac like this: http://pinpinchinese.com/pinyin-chart-online/
This is the best iOS option: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/allset-learning-pinyin/id483673874?ls=1&mt=8
