Here, I think 自己 means 沈佳伟 but is it possible to replace 自己 with 他? And if replaced with 她 would that mean that 洋洋 should not be with herself?
In English, we would have to use "him" instead of "himself" in the original sentence, so it seems the uses of 自己 don't quite line up with "himself" in English.

It means something like "OK, fine" in the phrase:
你要看我短信， 喏，你拿去看吧。
