Thanks, Bazza! I just Googled and it seems the building I have in mind is something called the Bund Financial Centre. Not quite a UFO shape but more of a crown on top of a building.

What a deliciously fun lesson! Thank you, Chinesepod! The picture for this lesson reminds me of some building in Shanghai (when viewed from Pudong towards the Bund and beyond) which looks like it has a UFO landed on top ?!?
